About this event
Robert Foster, Executive Director of the Hoboken Historical Museum, has been instrumental in preserving and sharing the city’s history for nearly three decades. In this lecture, he will reflect on how Hoboken marked America’s Bicentennial in 1976, offering a glimpse into the city’s commemorative events, community involvement, and historical initiatives. Through rare photos, film, and stories, Foster will examine how the nation’s 200th anniversary was celebrated in Hoboken and how it helped shape the city's cultural identity.
